Are there hearing aids that attach to glasses?
Though hearing aids that attach to glasses do exist, advancements in “in the canal” (ITC) technology and design improvements to behind the ear (BTE) devices make this option obsolete. This type of technology was first developed in the 1950s, when frames were bulkier and the hearing aids were much larger.
With the small size of today’s hearing aid technology, many styles can be comfortably worn in conjunction with glasses, such as mini BTEs, mini RICs, and, of course, ITCs and ITEs.
